Happy St. George's Day

Benifallet City Council wishes you a Happy St. George's Day. We know it won't be a Diada like the others, but we've tried to think of activities that encourage a taste for reading and virtual social relationships.

We suggest that you upload the images of decorated balconies, crafts, books, roses... We turn the networks into our Plaza!

ACTIVITIES

At 10 a.m. there will be one SARDANA SESSION, closing the Dance sessions in the Plaza with a JOTA. If you dance them at home, upoad videos so that everyone can see how we live Sant Jordi in Benifallet. 

At 11, the presentation will be made on the social networks of the SHORT STORY CONTEST with the town of Benifallet as the protagonist.

At 12, you can follow the reading of the book on the Library's Facebook page THE TRAVEL OF THE BROWN, written and illustrated by Montse Pallarès and Cinta Ramos, two generations of women related to Benifallet.

At 12 noon and 4 pm, as part of the campaign BOOKS IN THE AIR, you can go out to the windows, roofs, patios or balconies of your house and read aloud a little mouse. At the end, we give a loud APPLAUSE with the shout of the name of our particular "bookstore"; we will call it "GIFTS AND MORE". Already in the afternoon, at 4, within the campaign FREE LETTERS of the Department of Culture, citizens are invited to read aloud the text they want while recording a maximum of 2 minutes and is asked to disseminate them on the networks through the hashtag #letreslliures #SantJordiaCasa #SantJordi2020Benifallet and #Benifalletcultural

To end the Diada, at 7 pm, we invite you to fo out to sing or play the SANTA ESPINA which will sound from the City Hall public address system. If you want to play it, sing it or dance it from home, we leave it to you letter and the score. Record and upload it to the networks #SantJordi2020Benifallet
