The mayor of Benifallet, Mercè Pedret, has, however, called on the population not to lower their guard and to take all precautions. "The result of the screening allows us to breathe easy after the anxiety experienced in recent weeks, it is also a relief for the economic sector of the town", she said, adding, "but above all the main conclusion we must draw is that no we can relax and we must continue with the maximum security measures regarding the use of the mask, social distance and frequent hand washing" she said.

After assessing the results of the screening, the City Council reopens the Caves and the Llagut, which had closed as a precaution, despite the fact that no cases have been registered.
