SANT JORDI DAY ACTIVITIES

Benifallet City Council wishes you a Happy St. George's Day!! We know it won't be a Diada like the others, but we've tried to think of activies that encourage a taste for reading and virtual social relationships.

We suggest that you upload the images of the decorated balconies, crafts, book, roses ... We turn the networks into our Plaza!

  • At 10 in the morning there will be a SARDANA SESSION, closing the Dance session in the Plaza with a JOTA. If you dance them at home, upload videos so that everyone can see how we live Sant Jordi in Benifallet.
  • At 11, there will be a presentation on social media of the SHORT STORY CONTEST with the town of Benifallet as the protagonist.
  • At 12, you can follow the reading of the book EL VIATGE DE LA BRUNA, written and illustreated by Montse Pallarés and Cinta Ramos, two generations of women related to Benifallet, on the Library's Facebook page.
  • At 12 noon and 4 pm, as part of the BOOKS IN THE AIR campaign, you can go out to the windows, roofs, patios or balconies of your house and read aloud a mouse. At the end, we give a loud APPLAUSE with the shout of the name of our particular "bookstore"; we will can it "GIFTS AND MORE". Register and share the videos on the Library's facebook page with the hashtags #llibresalaire #SantJordiaCasa
  • Already in the afternoon, at 4, within the FREE LETTERS campaign of the Department of Culture, the public is invited to read aloud the text they want while recording a maximum of 2 minutes and is asked to spread them on the networks through the hashtag #letreslliures #SantJordiaCasa #SantJordi2020BenifalletBenifallet and #Benifalletcultural
